Assignment Earth: Solutions for a Sustainable Future
October 17 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

With climate change already wreaking havoc, it is not surprising that the American Psychological Society found that two-thirds of people in the U.S. are suffering from at least some level of “climate anxiety.” One of the antidotes to the fear of a growing climate crisis is a better understanding of the technologies and policy approaches that are already available or which are being developed to meet the challenge.
In this Assignment Earth conference, experts from USC and elsewhere, including the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, will take a clear-eyed look at the some of the options to address three aspects of climate change: energy and technology, food and water, and behavioral change.
Hosted by Assignment: Earth, the USC Price School, USC Viterbi and the USC Center for Sustainability Solutions.
