Terry Tamminen
CEO, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation
In this presentation, former CalEPA Secretary Terry Tamminen examines California sustainability policies that succeeded in the state (including “lessons learned” and setbacks), but which also became models around the globe for advancing environmental protection and “green” economic development. He will also present a roadmap for policies and projects that could simultaneously save endangered species (and their habitats), address climate change, and create the biggest wealth-generating opportunity of the 21st Century.
Bio: Terry Tamminen is the CEO of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, former CalEPA Secretary appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger and co-founder of the R20 Regions of Climate Action to implement measurable, large-scale, low-carbon and climate resilient economic development projects that can simultaneously solve the climate crisis and build a sustainable global economy.
