Research Focus: Environmental Policy
Renzhi Shen is a first year PhD student in Public Policy at the Sol Price School of Public Policy of USC. He is focused on environmental and energy policies in China, while holding interest in bureaucratic structure and comparative politics.
Renzhi is currently working with Professor Antonio Bento on a research regarding China’s “2+26 Cities” policy. The policy is aimed at managing pollution levels in the region centering Beijing by measures including monitoring, production restrictions and bans.
Prior to his current PhD program at the Price School, he received an MPP also from the Price School. Renzhi received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Peking University (China) in 2017.
